World Vape Show: the trade show
Experts are forecasting that 64 million people will be using vaping devices by 2022. Part of this projected rise will be driven in the United Arab Emirates, where the government has recently legalised the sale of e-cigarettes, vaping devices and e-liquids to support efforts to curb smoking and stop the online sale of unregulated devices.
Manufacturers are now allowed to sell products as long as they meet new standards and have obtained the necessary certification from the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology.
The rule change in April 2019, opens up a market in a country where the consumption rate of tobacco is high (25-30% among men) but where there is a rising awareness regarding the health hazards associated with smoking. There is a growing demand for alternatives to traditional cigarettes - the Middle East & Africa e-cigarettes market was valued at US$267.9 million in 2018 and is estimated to register CAGR of 9.74% between 2019-2024.
The World Vape Show is the first international vape expo and conference in the UAE and will provide manufacturers with a unique opportunity to showcase products to thousands of international retailers, wholesalers, distributors and consumers in Dubai.
