Don't miss our questionnaire with Karen Radley, MD and founder of Scoop and Scoop London, to discover what's up for the second edition Scoop London.
How do you decide that is time to go a step further after the Scoop succeed?
I was being requested by Premium UK and International buyers to introduce a contemporary fashion trade alongside London Fashion Week coupled with a waiting list for Scoop - it seemed the natural next step to develop a new show ie Scoop London
What reception had the first edition of Scoop London?
I was truly amazed and overwhelmed by the positive reception the new show received.
Are you going to introduce some novelties for the second edition?
My mission for each show is to bring on board new talent. Buyers want to visit the show and see established labels as well as emerging talent. Thus the show always looks and feels different and more importantly 'fresh'.
Scoop London takes place during London Fashion Week. What impact has the show to the city of London?
We are a static tradeshow and we know that certain buyers are coming to London just to see Scoop London which must be good for the economy and tourism.
Who can participate in the show?
I personally handpick each label that shows at Scoop London and I will only choose labels who are selling to retailers only.
Can you give some tips for those exhibitors who are going to participate for the first time both in Scoop and Scoop London?
Both shows are in the iconic Saatchi Gallery, Chelsea, London. I curate the fashion collections around the stunning art within the gallery, so one of my roles is to ask all exhibitors and designers to be respectful of the priceless art!
Give us some reasons to don't miss the show!
Come and see talent, talent and some more talent!
