PEAK : the trade show
LANDMECO was founded in 1932 in Ølgod and has grown to become an international manufacturer of poultry equipment. In 1970, the distribution of poultry equipment began, soon encompassing everything from drinking systems and feeding systems to laying systems and liquid vitamins. In 1977, the company underwent a generational change and Søren Andersen became the new owner and leader. In 1979, the company adopted its current name, LANDMECO.
In the 80s, LANDMECO began to manufacture poultry equipment. Initially, nest boxes were made and since the poultry farm's own production included hens raised on the floor, this provided excellent opportunities to experiment with different types of equipment to find solutions that worked better than existing systems on the market. Subsequently, LANDMECO began to investigate the production of feeding systems, including both feeders and feeders. The systems were designed for broilers, breeding animals and layers. In 1996, LANDMECO launched the Harmony aviary system. The system is still sold today, but in newly developed and modified versions.
