The Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid, considered a clear exponent of the urbanism of century XXI, was designed by Ricardo Bofill Levi and inaugurated in 1993. At the moment managed by the Empresa Municipal Campo de las Naciones, it is located in the Campo de las Naciones next to the IFEMA in the new financial center of the city.
It's modern design and a useful surface of more than 30,000 sqm distributed in 14 plants (7 of them underground) grants a great versatility, with high technology and the necessary services to absorb all the demands of the market; specially the organization of congresses, fairs and great meetings of all type. The building has public parking, extended exhibition zones, two auditoriums with capacity for 900 and 1900 people respectively, a multipurpose room of 2,200 sqm and thirty rooms of different capacities.
