JFHOD: the trade show
The JFHOD, Francophone conference of hepato gastroenterology and digestive oncology, is the leading French congress of diseases and cancers of the digestive system and the second European congress of the specialty in terms of wealth.
They are organized by SNFGE, French National Society of Gastroenterology in collaboration with FMC-HGE, French National Association for Continuing Education in Hepatogastrology.
The JFHOD brings together more than 5,000 participants each year, including around 4,000 delegates (hepatogastroenterologists and oncologists, but also digestive surgeons, pediatricians, gastroenterologists, researchers, radiologists, internists, biologists, pathologists, general practitioners, interns, students). medicine), more than 200 nurses GIFE and 800 exhibitors.
Sessions of scientific and continuing medical education, organized with associated scientific societies, cover all fields of the discipline. Hepatogastroenterology is one of the major medical specialties, including diseases and cancers that affect the esophagus, stomach, liver, bile ducts, pancreas, small intestine, colon and anus. It goes far beyond other areas of medicine: oncology, surgery, nutrition, radiology, pediatrics, biology, pathology, genetics, nuclear medicine, immunology, virology, bacteriology, parasitology, etc.
Each year one or more topics are presented, a French-speaking country and a European academic society are invited.
Around 60 industrial partners also participate every year in the JFHOD through an exhibition of more than 1,600 m2 of stands, morning workshops, symposiums, technocentros and various forms of associations.
