What I have to know to exhibit in Chicago (some specific rules in venues...)?
Booth space fees do not include a stand/booth unless otherwise noted. GES is the general contractor for the show. Exhibitors are allowed to use a third party for booth construction but must notify GES in advance. Two million dollars of liability insurance is also required to exhibit at the show. There is a list of exclusive vendors available in the Dairy Show Exhibitor Manual for details.
Benefits to exhibit here?
The time and the co-location affords you the opportunities to get more bang for your buck and the opportunity to display your innovative products and services all in one place at one time.
More than 85% of the attendees are involved in making purchasing decisions, many of whom make the final call. They are composed of executives, operations and distribution managers, R&D and food safety specialists, sales and marketing professionals, and engineers.
These attendees want to build relationships and obtain insight from suppliers who will show them the latest advances in packaging, food safety, ingredients and flavorings, distribution solutions, filling and closing machines and more.
Dairy Show attendees have ranked “chance to see new products and “networking” as their top two reasons for registering for previous shows. They are eager to meet with potential new suppliers and current partners.
Ninety one percent of the attendees at the 2013 Dairy Show gave the exhibitors an excellent to good rating on the final evaluation of the Show.
Some participation results from the last edition
Previous attendees have testified to the value they take home from the Dairy Show. A quarter of the responses from the 2013 post-show surveys stated they will realize anywhere between $100,000 to more than $1 million in profits and cost savings directly from a solution they found at the Dairy Show.
