InnoTrans: the trade show
InnoTrans, in Berlin, Germany is an international platform for buyers and sellers of passenger and freight transport technology. InnoTrans features include: rail technology, rail vehicles, railway infrastructure, interiors, public transport, transport IT and services.
September 2014 Edition:
From September 23 to September 26, 2014 it will be held Innotrans in Berlin, Germany. This is an International Trade Fair for Transport Technology that present innovative components, vehicles and systems. This event has a large number of reference projects and more than 220 transport technology firms.
And since Berlin is the most popular and important city of Germany, it is the perfect place for the Germany’s transport engineering industry and the ideal place for Innotrans, event that brings so many international buyers and sellers from all over the world.
This event is a showplace that is completely focus on the railway technology, railway infrastructure, interiors, public transportation and tunnel construction. The products on display are the following:
- Railway technology. That has vehicles for passengers and freight transport, vehicle maintance, etc.
- Interiors. Travel catering and comfort services. Railway infrastructure, etc.
- Public Transport. Communications, data processing, consulting, financing, associations, science, research, etc.
- Tunnel Construction. Energy supply systems and illumination, maintance, services, consulting, interior finishing, etc.
The international visitor target groups includes public and private transport enterprises and operators, manufacturers and suppliers of the transport and technology industry, consultants, miners, scientists, researchers, developers, everyone working on the media, etc.
In 2012 the overall area had 161,420. The total number of exhibitors was 2,515, from 1,426 were foreign exhibitors coming from more than 49 countries. The number of the visitants was 126,110 from more than 140 countries from all over the world. And this year is expected even more.
