IMDS: the trade show
The IMDS slogan is "Through Co-operation - to Peace & Progress", and it states of the primary missions of the Show: facilitating business contacts between Russian defence industries and their foreign colleagues and establishing international co-operation in armament and materiel manufacturing, including for exporting to other Navies.
The show presents, among others: naval and commercial shipbuilding; weapons, armaments, integrated complexes and fire control systems; combat control systems, communications, radio-electronics, radars and sonars; marine power plants, hull systems, gears and auxiliary machinery; naval aviation; navigation, hydrographical and hydro-meteorological services and hardware; high-speed and small-size vessels, boats, yachts for supporting and commercial purposes; logistics infrastructure.
