Ferias Jaen was born in December 1998 to publicize and promote the wealth and resources of the province through the organization of congresses, trade fairs, and events held at this Fairs, Conferences and Exhibitions Center. Ferias Jaen is one of the largest and most modern venues in the region. It has the latest innovations in technology and communications and contributes to the strengthening of the region. The spaces inside Ferias Jaen, foster harmonious relations among the various sectors to offer customers the exact information they are looking for. The main objective of the company is to highlight through organization of events such as fairs, shows and exhibitions among others, all socio-economic sectors of the province of Jaen.The Consortium for the Development of the Province of Jaen, following the implementation of the Fair, decided to increase the infrastructure and built the Jaen Fair Convention and Congress Center.Convention and Congress Center Jaen opened in May 2003, coinciding with the Eleventh Edition of Expoliva. The new center was first used to celebrate the Technical and Scientific Symposium of the most important trade show for olive oil. Since then, the Convention Center hosted over 100 annual congresses, presentations and events of all kinds. In 2007, coinciding again with Expoliva´s 13th edition, the Activa Jaen Building opened in the Covered Outdoor Pavilion. This new multi-functional building with two floors of 1800 square meters each, can accommodate conferences, trade shows and exhibitions. The building Activa Jaen opened with Olive Lands Expo in December 2007. Recinto Provincial de Ferias y Congresos de Jaén is undoubtedly one of the best venues in Spain regarding both its facilities and the importance and quality of events it presents. .
