Holiday Park & Resort Innovation is a good chance to discover new products, techniques and ideas to improve your holiday business.

In addition to the exposition, the attendees can enjoy different workshops and seminars, all of this to offer the best vacation experience to their clients and increase their image brand.

As every year, this trade show it's being organized in the National Exhibition Center of Birmingham. To know all the novelties for you, we're talking with their corporate staff.

What do you think that makes Holiday Park & Resort Innovation stand out from other holidays park shows like Dublin Holiday World Show or Salon des Vacances?

Holiday Park & Resort Innovation is an event that is completely dedicated to helping holiday park owners grow or evolve their holiday business, or transform it altogether. The show stands out from similar events as it’s the best place for the most ambitious and progressive holiday park companies to showcase their innovative products and services, meet with partners and customers, discover an abundance of information on market trends, and grab the greatest business opportunities.

The show is also the perfect place to discover new products for autumn and Christmas business. What are the coming trends? Have families or young people’s travel styles changed?

As a result of a weakened pound following June’s EU referendum, more and more Britons are now looking towards a ‘staycation,’ where they opt for a domestic summer holiday instead of travelling abroad. This means UK tourism is booming, and as a result, the UK holiday park industry is developing in every sector, both high-end and low-end. The UK’s holiday parks now offer more in the way of choice, activities, and luxury than ever before. Our show assists businesses with absolutely everything they need, from luxury cabins and extreme sports to children’s entertainment and restaurants.

What can you highlight from the next edition?

HPI 2016 will be packed with the most eye-catching and memorable suppliers showcasing their designs and ideas, and visitors will truly immerse themselves in everything that will take the industry to the next level.
One branch of the supplier I’m particularly looking forward to seeing is holiday park entertainment. We’re going to have an amazing diversity of the innovations that will entertain guests for years to come – from wave technology to adventure courses.

The show attracts exhibitors from many segments of the sector; can you give some tips for those exhibiting for the first time, not just at HPI, but in the UK?

Exhibiting is one of the most effective marketing activities available to you, and being at HPI will give you exposure to an audience of over 3,500 of the hungriest businesses, and therefore gives you the invaluable opportunity to talk to them face-to-face.
My advice to inexperienced exhibitors would be to remember the three Es; Engage, Entertain, and Enthuse. Having attracted a visitor to your stand, you need to engage with them, form a connection; entertain them and provide them with something they haven’t yet experienced; and show your enthusiasm for your brand and what you can do for them –passion can contagious – make sure they catch yours!

The exhibition provides an exclusive seminar schedule... can you recommend us one in particular?

Every seminar at the show provides something different, but they’re all equal in the level of information, insight, and knowledge they offer to visitors. This year’s schedule covers more than ever before, and no stone has been left unturned when it comes to educating or inspiring our visitors, so picking out one seminar, in particular, is an impossible task!

What does HPI mean to the industry?

The show is widely recognised as being the leading event for holiday park owners to find the critical information and resources to build and grow their business, meet the suppliers that can influence their fortunes, discover the latest market trends, and secure the guidance and insight they need to rise above the competition.

What makes the show unmissable?

The UK holiday park industry is one of the most exciting and rapidly developing around and any business that’s grown in the right way provides lucrative rewards. Holiday Park and Resort Innovation show you exactly how to do this with the most entertaining and interactive industry exhibition. One day with HPI could have a significant impact on your future.

What are the participation results from the last edition?

Last November’s edition of Holiday Park & Resort Innovation attracted 3,000-holiday park owners, managers, and professionals to the NEC Birmingham.
