Glasgow Festival of Wine: the trade show
In 2002 wine expert Tom Cannavan created a popular annual wine festival in his native city of Glasgow, with superb wines on tasting and amazing masterclasses featuring the world’s most interesting wines. Since then, he has taken the Festivals to London and Edinburgh too, with phenomenal success: all events sell out months in advance.
Each Festival is a celebration of wine with a real sense of community. Tickets include unlimited tastings from hundreds of high-quality wines being poured by top winemakers, retailers and importers. There’s also a full programme of masterclasses at each event.
What to expectThe Festivals are serious about wine, but never, ever stuffy. You’ll discover great new wines, learn the stories behind them, and hone your own palate through this amazing opportunity to compare and contrast so many quality wines. Our policy is to also keep our masterclass ticket prices very affordable: we want as many people as possible to enjoy these unmissable sessions – not only to taste some of the world’s greatest wines, but to learn from our expert tutors.
All three Festivals take place in stunning city centre venues, and are open from 12:30pm until 5:00pm – with re-entry via the Festival wristband. Above all, you’ll have fun!
