What makes Foodex Japan different from other events of this field?
We have 80 overseas countries exhibitors. And this show is focussing only on professional FOOD and Beverage and every food channel professionals, food retailers, traders, wholesalers and food services, visit and look for new food trends not only from Japan but overseas.
Why exhibit? What tips or advice can you give those exhibiting at Foodex Japan for the first time?
Japan is the gateway to the expanding Asian food markets and they should exhibit and get the key buyers to expand the market to surrounding Asian countries.
Then, Japan has elder population ratio and the wellness food trendsetter in the world. If they could find the good relation and experience in Japan, they can be competitive with the world.
Which newness are you going to introduce in the upcoming edition of Foodex Japan?
We have "Organic & Wellness Zone" and "Tea & Coffee Zone" where we can find new food trend from overseas including Super FOOD.

Our visitors from overseas increased from 8,356 people to 9,365 people.
We are going to have more overseas visitors of looking for Japanese New Foods Markets, coming big event of Olympic Game 2020, and Japanese Foods, Wasyoku "Japanese Cuisine" is the trend in the world food market.
