Filgua is the International Book Fair in Guatemala, organized by the Gremial de Editores of Guatemala and celebrated its first edition in 2000. FILGUA was created as a cultural activity aimed at the promotion of the book and reading in the country, concerned above all with the low reading rates aware of the positive, general and particular consequences that a book fair exerts on the development and culture of societies
