FIL Lima - Feria Internacional del Libro: the trade show
The International Book Fair of Lima – FIL Lima is the largest and most important publishing and cultural event in Peru whose organization is in charge of the Peruvian Book Chamber. Since 2010, the fair is installed in the park Los Próceres located in the district of Jesús María, during the last weeks of July and the first days of August.
Every year the FIL Lima has a guest country of honor that through its embassies and other institutions enable the arrival of the most important writers, publishers and booksellers of their nation allowing the general Peruvian public to know their works and experiences directly.
