Of all the exhibitors, 90% are manufacturing. For overseas visitors, you might be interested in knowing that Chinese top export-oriented companies will all attend FIC.
If you work in this industry, you will find what you need among the many categories of products on display – 20 categories of food additives, 14 categories of food processing aide, 21 categories of compound food additives, 32 categories of food ingredients, new food raw material, food packing material and machinery, food and pharmaceutical processing machinery, food detection equipment and technique, etc.
During the show, 48 technical seminars will be held by exhibitors to publish their latest products or techniques. Besides these technical seminars, the event will hold Lectures on Laws, Regulations and Standards, and Academic Forums to keep participants updated to the newest trends of the industry.
Even though the event doesn’t have an area dedicated to lifestyles like veganism or vegetarianism, one of the main novelties of this year it’s a natural & healthy zone.
Shanghai is the largest metropolis other than capital Beijing with a robust economy and convenient transportation. It is located in eastern China - in the Yangtze River Delta where the food industry is the most developed in China. Food production and trade here are extremely active. Therefore, Shanghai is the best place for FIC and doing business. And, if you’re going to China for business, you should know that developing personal relationships is very important.
