Feria Valencia is the oldest institution organising trade fairs in Spain. Founded in 1917, it has 87 years experience under its belt and is the only Spanish trade fair with the ISO 9002 certificate granted by AENOR.
A co-founder of UFI (Union of International Fairs), AFE (Association of Spanish Trade Fairs), and MTFA (Association of Mediterranean Trade Fairs), full member of EMECA (Association of European Exhibition Centres) and member of AFIDA (Association of International Trade Fairs of America)
Feria Valencia is the largest exhibition centre in Spain in terms of surface area and is one of the top ten in the world with 231.000 m².
In 2003 Feria Valencia had organised more than 40 trade shows, of which 21 were recognised as international in accordance with the official denomination from the Secretary of State for Commerce and UFI.
Last year over one million two hundred thousand professional visitors from all the world came to Feria Valencia and almost twelve thousand businesses exhibited their products in its trade fairs. Feria Valencia’s impact on the local economy is estimated to be somewhere in the region of 600 million euros annually.
Located at about five kilometres from the city centre of Valencia, Feria Valencia is easily accessible from the national motorway system. It is also connected with the port of Valencia –one of the most active in the Mediterranean- and with Valencia’ airport in Manises, only 5 km from the fair.
