Feira Nacional de Artesanato: the trade show
Developed for more than 40 consecutive years, the National Handicraft Fair, which takes place in Vila do Conde, continues to assert itself as a reference in the sector, especially due to its mobilizing capacity, not only of national artisans, but also with regard to the number of visitors to the event.
The National Handicraft Fair has been considered, over the last few years, as "the biggest and the best" of its kind that takes place in Portugal, but it does not stop in the persevering effort to defend and disseminate the traditional Portuguese arts. Thus, every year, a firm and determined commitment to the preservation of a cultural heritage, bequeathed through several generations and which must continue to be defended, is renewed.
