Feira e Simpósio de Soluções Energéticas para Comunidades da Amazônia (Energia & Comunidades): the trade show
In 2019, Manaus will host the first edition of the Fair and Symposium on Energy Solutions for Amazonian Communities (Energy & Communities). The event will discuss alternatives to replace fossil fuels, such as gasoline and diesel, with cheaper and more sustainable renewable sources, and show innovations in the energy sector.
It will be at the Amazonas Convention Center, from March 25 to 28, 2019, with a focus on promoting the energy inclusion of isolated communities in the Amazon - indigenous, riverside and traditional, which are not served by the National Interconnected System (SIN). It will also present the market for products and services aimed at generating alternative energy, solar, small-scale wind, biomass and off grid (off grid) in isolated systems and at lower costs.
