EFE has become the most important furniture tradeshow in SouthEast Asia but, what makes the Show different from other of its kind?

EFE has become one of the most important furniture tradeshows in SouthEast Asia as it is an exhibition by the industry for the industry. Presented by the Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC) which is the national body representing the industry and is organized by EFE Expo Sdn Bhd. which is fully owned by MFC. It is a non-profit organization with the objective of promoting Malaysian furniture and providing a trading platform to do export for industry players.

In addition to the exhibition we can enjoy about design competitions and seminars, what novelties will we find on this year's edition?

This year we have in collaboration with the Malaysian Furniture Promotion Council (MFPC) a designated exclusive Hall 8 with the theme “Design Value”. The Hall will display furniture products of innovative designs by the industry manufacturers. The Professional Designers Programme (PDP) by the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) with the collaboration of MFPC envisages to take research in furniture design to the next level that is through the development of design with the Professional Designers and the Malaysian furniture manufacturers. We also have the “China Export Pavilion (CEP)” whereby it is dedicated to manufacturers who want to export solid wood furniture to China. It is an opportunity for them.
