The fair presents a BtoB Networking Platform. Could you explain more about it?
Reaffirming is important to the Latin American personal care industry, in-cosmetics Latin America returned to São Paulo for its fourth edition on September 20th & 21st 2017.
With a 20% size increase, the event provided a business platform for leading global personal care ingredient suppliers such as Ashland, Chemyunion, Clariant, Croda, Dow, Evonik and Lonza to showcase their innovations to cosmetic manufacturers in the region.
The show attracted 4,689 professionals, a 12% increase on 2016 and featured key cosmetic brands such as Alicorp, Avon, Beiersdorf, Belcorp, Colgate-Palmolive, Estée Lauder, Genomma Lab, Hypermarcas, JBS S/A, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, Mary Kay, Natura, Naturel SA, O Boticario, P&G, The Ballerina Group, Unilever and Unique – Yanbal Group.
The show broke another record with its largest ever Innovation Zone featuring 28 new ingredients whilst visitors were given access to 151 exhibiting companies including new ones like Assessa, Autec, Citrefine, Down Under Enterprises, DuPont, Hallstar and SEPPIC Brasil. Another feature brought together Amanter, Capuani, Citróleo, Embacaps, Givaudan, Vollmens Fragrances, Lucas Meyer, Phytoessence, Sensient and Symrise as part of the Fragrance Trail, promoting their new scents, oils and fragrances.
Heading into its 5th edition in 2018, in cosmetics Latin America, is the platform for some of the most exciting ingredient launches in the personal care industry in South America. in-cosmetics Latin America 2018 will be taking place at Expo Center Norte, São Paulo from 19-20 September 2018.
What are the latest trends in the Cosmetic Industry? Will these trends be present throughout the fair?
The Haircare market, especially in LATAM continues to growth. Other trends include natural and green materials , male grooming, color cosmetics and fragrances. Apart from our exhibitors bringing their latest innovations in all these areas we will also provide cutting-edge education with our free-to-attend marketing trends sessions where visitors will be able to explore brand new data, case studies and insights from world –renowned research agencies and industry experts.
What news have you prepared for the 2018 edition? What are the highlights?
