Austria Center Vienna

The Austria Center Vienna is operated by Internationales Amtssitz- und Konferenzzentrum Wien, Aktiengesellschaft (IAKW-AG) which was jointly founded in 1971 by the Austrian Federal Government and Vienna City Council. IAKW-AG is an incorporated company which operates in accordance with normal commercial principles. Facilities: 17 Halls with capacities between 100–4,320 persons. 170 additional rooms (offices, meeting rooms and VIP suites). Total of 22,200sqm of exhibition space (approx. 10,000sqm in the main building in addition to the halls, and 12,200 sqm in exhibition halls X, XL, Y and Z). The 2,712 events staged at the Austria Center Vienna between its inauguration in May 1987 and the end of 2006 drew some 4.7 million visitors, including more than 850,000 foreign delegates.
