One of the strengths of the event is its conference programme, presented by the industry experts. Do you recommend a session in particular?
Asian Securitex Conference has been held 14 times in last 28 years, the industry is very familiar with the event. Every edition, the advisory panel develop the programme in accordance with the most recent trend and foreseeing the future threats. Our theme this year “Emerging Threats – Expect the Unexpected in Asia - Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Security” is a timely topic with regards to recent security incidents in many countries in Asian and Europe. Of course, all the sessions are as important while the panel session in the afternoon on 5 May could be the highlight where 5 experts in aspects of cybercrimes and critical infrastructure security will share their insight on “Appliance of Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Security In Asia”.
The importance of critical infrastructures, such as the production and supply of electricity and fuels, water supply, transport infrastructure, telecommunications system and public health services for the national security and for meeting the vital needs of the population, economic and social activities cannot be understated. The panel aims to discuss the involvement of stakeholders, decision-makers and the potential risks associated with cybercrime, cyberterrorism and IP weakness within critical infrastructure systems.

Like above mentioned, there are no other shows can compare with us in the region. It is probably the only chance that industry professionals can view such a large number of new products and network with 15,000 buyers in just 3 days. If they miss this one, they will have to wait for another 2 years!

In the last edition of the show in 2014, the show attached 10,051 buyers from Hong Kong, Macau, China and Southeast Asia. There were 500 exhibiting companies.
