APOSTOLUS, a fair of religious and cultural articles, art and itineraries,is a unique opportunity to exhibit products and services associated with the religious sector. The fair will take place over 4 days in the Monastery of San Martín Pinario, situated opposite the North façade of Santiago Cathedral, in the heart of Santiago de Compostela’s historic quarter. With a history stretching back almost five centuries, it is Spain’s second largest monastery. It currently houses the Major Seminary and accommodation facilities enabling visitors and exhibitors to stay at the fair venue. The exhibition rooms, steeped in history and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, will provide the setting for meetings between Church suppliers, distributors, crafts men and women, artists and publishing houses….in a very special environment that is ideal for showcasing the latest trends. Throughout the month of July, the programme of additional activities will include a large number of exhibitions, performances and events set against the spectacular backdrop of the city’s historic quarter. The fair will also practically coincide with the feast day of the Apostle Saint James, held on 25th July and the events to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the pilgrimage of Saint Francis to Santiago de Compostela, forming the perfect complement for the fair in an atmosphere that will be rich in spirituality.
